The Rockport Computer Users’ Group was created in 1988 by four local residents with an interest in personal computers. Since then the club has grown and provided support to both its members and the community.

At 7 PM each Wednesday there is a member’s meeting with topics of general interest at different skill levels. This is preceeded by a half-hour of social contacts where members can meet, have some coffee and spend some time together.

Free internet access to the public is provided weekdays. There is a computer classroom with 11 Vista Buiness PCs and a projector for classes. Classes are taught in Windows XP, Vista, and in various other programs as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Pulisher, Excel and Computer Maintenance,
